If you’re passionate about crafting cutting-edge technology solutions and want to contribute to the development of customized equipment, including Battery Tray Assembly and Battery Assembly and Test Systems, Leak Test Equipment, Industrial Parts Washers, and Material Handling Automation, then this opportunity is for you!

What you’ll get to do

• Collaborate with controls experts and manufacturing specialists to generate practical controls designs tailored to meet the needs of our diverse clientele.
• Innovate and implement controls solutions for existing equipment while establishing controls standards for new projects.
• Under the guidance of senior team members, contribute to the development of controls hardware designs (electric and pneumatic), generate project Bill of Materials, perform standard design calculations, and ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Work closely with Senior Software Developers to create PLC, HMI, and other smart device programs.
• Support the controls manufacturing team during the debugging phase of equipment build and potentially provide installation supervision at customer facilities to ensure equipment functions according to design criteria.

What we are looking for

• Experience: Leverage your Engineering Degree and controls expertise in designing automation systems using AutoCad Electrical and/or ePLAN P8; RS Studio, Siemens Step 7 & TIA portal.

The expected compensation for this position is $30.00 – $39.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skillset, or location. This posting is for an existing vacancy. Valiant TMS does not require Canadian work experience and does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to screen or assess applicants.
