Job Summary Designs control systems and power distribution systems for industrial material handling solutions. Includes development of specifications, device layout drawings, control and power schematics, PLC and QNX logic, and implementing solutions that deliver exceptional customer value. Works closely with the overall project team to design systems that exceed the project requirements. Uses creativity and innovation to tailor standard product offerings to meet customer needs.

Leads project work and provide direction to less-senior team members.

customizes standard designs based on customer specifications and scope documents Reviews customer specifications and scope documentation for quotation and clarification Designs system layouts, schematics, and control devices Creates control sequence of operation documents to ensure that designs meet customer expectations Maintains progress schedules that meet project milestones Prepares schematics and specifications for control panel fabrication Provides documentation and support to the field wiring team Creates Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs; configures and implements systems that use the QNX operating system Works closely withthe Software Engineering team to integrate control solutions Performs on-site commissioning to implement and validate the system design Leads and directs project work and less-senior team members Performs process checks and reviews the output by other team members Travels up to 50% Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or related field or equivalent experience Experience in engineering design and project execution, preferably in the material handling industry Experience with various industrial HMI and SCADA systems and QNX OS a plus Experience with Allen-Bradley controls/controllers, Schneider PLCs, and Omron PLCs a

plus Proficient in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Visio Ability to speak Japanese is a plus Ability to handle multiple project assignments and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced result-oriented environment Ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers, vendors, consulting engineers, architects, and installers Many great benefits to include Health/Vision/Dental/401k with match/Pet Insurance FSA/HSA Employee Assistance Program
