Position Overview
We are currently seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Co-op Student to support our dynamic team. As an integral member of the group, you will have the opportunity to assist in designing, developing, installing, and/or maintaining equipment used to monitor and control engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Assists in the development of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and implement project specifications
• Assist in the development of instrumentation and controls designs for facilities ranging in size from wellsites to natural gas processing plants
• Help produce drawings and documentation to support the I&C design such as junction box termination drawings, PLC Drawings, cable schedules, wiring schematics, building controls layouts, and instrument indexes.
• Assist with Vendor communication and coordination with other disciplines to integrate equipment into the final design
• Prepares instrument technical specifications, instrument data sheets, and requisition quotes
• Checks and reviews vendor drawings against industry codes and standards to ensure technical accuracy
• Assisting in quality management

Compensation
The salary for this role is based on an average of 37.5 hours a week. The estimated range is between $23-$25/hr, depending on skills and experience.
