Position Overview 

We are currently seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Co-op Student to support our dynamic team. As an integral member of the group, you will have the opportunity to assist in designing, developing, installing, and/or maintaining equipment used to monitor and control engineering systems. 

Your pride in ensuring that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently, and safely will be a vital part of this diverse and interesting position. 


Key Responsibilities

    Assists in the development of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and implement project specifications

    Assist in the development of instrumentation and controls designs for facilities ranging in size from wellsites to natural gas processing plants

    Help produce drawings and documentation to support the I&C design such as junction box termination drawings, PLC Drawings, cable schedules, wiring schematics, building controls layouts, and instrument indexes.

    Assist with Vendor communication and coordination with other disciplines to integrate equipment into the final design

    Prepares instrument technical specifications, instrument data sheets, and requisition quotes

    Checks and reviews vendor drawings against industry codes and standards to ensure technical accuracy

    Assisting in quality management 


Qualifications

Compensation

The salary for this role is based on an average of 37.5 hours a week. The estimated range is between $23-$25/hr, depending on skills and experience.
