As an Instrumentation Technician, you will perform all aspects of electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repairs at the Pulp Mill.
Responsibilities
Perform the required troubleshooting, programming and research to maintain and improve existing distributed controls, programmable controls, mill process controls and electrical distribution systems
Bench set valves, calibrate conductivity and PH probes
Assist in continuous improvement through cross functional teams
On call coverage and shift work may be required
Qualifications
Instrumentation Journeyman License
Industrial Controls Technology Diploma
Industrial experience in a similar industry would be considered an asset
Possess knowledge of Plant Instrumentation and Electrical systems, Emerson and Honeywell Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controls, Variable Speed Drives (stand alone and coordinated)
Possess working knowledge of high voltage switchgear, transformers and system protection
History using a (CMMS) computerized maintenance management system to record work order history
