Overview Works directly with customers in a staff augmentation manner, supporting critical Rockwell automation systems. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain process control automation solutions applying Rockwell Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA).
- Support functional area projects focused on improving process equipment/utilities/facilities.
- Lead/support technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and solving problems related to process control issues within plant operations.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) or new technology introductions by performing automation engineering assessments, implementing automation system configuration changes, and supporting engineering and process qualification runs as applicable.
- Provide Continuous Improvement initiatives including Safety, Reliability, Efficiency and Environmental sustainability improvements to meet customer’s goals
- Maintain Data Integrity Assessments with the current industry standards
Day to Day Activities: Qualifications
- Day-to-day Operational Support.
- Part of the 24 x 7 Onsite/On Call team (Thousand Oaks, CA)
- Troubleshooting Support for Manufacturing
- Automation System Administration
- Automation System Operating Systems (OS) and HotFix assessments and rollout
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- Automation System spare parts management
- Drive true root cause investigations and resolutions by collaborating with equipment Vendors.
- Business Process Improvements including departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- 2-8 years of experience in automation

- Experience on other control system platforms is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of control system design and coding

- B.S. in Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering or Engineering Technology or related degree
- Competitive Base Salary: $100,000–$135,000, depending on experience
