The role involves servicing, maintenance, commissioning and incident response for AGVs throughout Dematic’s customer network across the country/overseas. The right candidate is customer focused, an expert in providing high quality service, technically experienced in trouble shooting, problem solving and has a passion for automation and technology. Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

• Responsible for servicing, repairing, maintaining, upgrading and keeping the customer AGVs optimally operational

• Resolve within a reasonable time any equipment servicing needs and ensure quality of output

• Assist the AGV teams with ongoing support requirements and projects

• Be a champion of Health and Safety compliance and adopting quality standards of continued improvement

• Travelling to customer sites locally, interstate and occasionally overseas when required

• Able to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with customers

• Participate in the on-call support roster

What We are Looking For:

• Significant experience as a forklift technician, or fitter/boilermaker with experience with forklifts and/or mobile automation equipment

• A restricted electrical worker’s license

• Exposure to hydraulics and/or PLC experience

• Previous experience in automation, warehousing and manufacturing environments

• Must have current driver license

• Good computer literacy skills

• Strong problem solving abilities and solution focused

• Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills

• Candidate that is career development driven and committed team player
