Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview Manage and maintain Electrical/Automation/Controls Systems L1 & L2 Responsibilities Update controls, HMIs, OS’s, prints, etc.
Troubleshoot process issues RSLogix, Step 7, and TMEIC PLC Maintenance of Code and Troubleshooting Setup, maintain and configure Industrial Networks (ControlNet, DeviceNet, EtherNet, Profibus, Profinet) Continual improvements with Process and Controls with small and largescale projects Work closely with Level 1 and Level 2 Engineer to ensure quality and on time work Qualifications Excellent safety record Bachelor’s Degree: Electrical Engineering/Automation Engineer of Computer Science Multi-task and manage projects/maintenance outages Ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents Advise and coordinate the workof electrical contractors, and employees Willingness to learn and train others Excellent communication and organizational skills Excellent computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Visio, AutoCad, etc.) Willingness to work unscheduled hours/days Microsoft SQL, Kepware and other Level 1 to Level 2 software Preferred Automation experience with the following: RSLogix, RSLinks, WinnCC, Prophecy, Factor Talk, and other types of Automation Software VFD setup, networking and controls (TMEIC, PowerFlex, Toshiba, SoftStarts) PLC experience Steel Dynamics Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
