Duties: Repairing, troubleshooting and installation of electrical wiring and machinery including electrical and electronic equipment, control systems and automation. Maintain, repair, install and test PLC and HMI programming changes and troubleshooting including modification and calibration of equipment; weight scales VFD, Servomotors and network communications experience.
Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations Testing electrical wiring of automated systems and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance Optimizing equipment safety, efficiency and reliability, participating in continuous improvement projects and completing work orders according to PM schedules Complying with all applicable legislative and Bakery food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Servicing, cleaning and performing preventative maintenance and overhaul on all production and bakery equipment, and keeping maintenance records Continually improving equipment function via design improvements Ensuring that work area is clean of debris and hazards at all times and check work area for such hazards upon arrival and when departing each area of work Working in a safe manner in accordance with legislated and company health and safety standards Performing other related duties as assigned or required.
Requirements: Completion of secondary school is required Industrial Electrician License (442A) or 309A is required 3+ years of industrial, electrical and mechanical experience Previous experience in a Food manufacturing environment General knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and ability to assist all trades people as required Problem solving skills and good communication skills are required Comfortable using computers Ability to work well within a team and independently Comfortable with occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs You really enjoy working in a fast paced environment where every day can bring new and unique challenges
Ability to work a flexible shift day/afternoon/night, Sunday to Saturday.
