In this hands-on role, you’ll: Fit motor starters, circuit breakers, and control devices into custom made panels and switchboards Wire PLCs and advanced electrical equipment with precision Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure top performance Keep the workshop sharp and efficient Support shipping, receiving, and shop documentation to keep on schedule This is your chance to build, connect, and innovate in a role where every detail counts.
Qualifications and Experience: Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related field Use of standard panel shop hand and power tools Relevant work experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience That Will Put You Ahead: Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Ability to detail electrical systems and components from engineering sketches Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D Licensed electrician Experience building electricalpanels Experience with industrial and/or marine control systems Forklift certification 3D drafting Licenses: Valid driver’s license (G2 or G) Valid passport for international travel How to Apply: Provide one PDF containing your resume and cover letter to: careers@bcsautomation.ca Drop off your resume in person BCS Automation Ltd. uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools as part of the initial application screening process.
