We are seeking a versatile Technical Specialist to bridge the gap between modern enterprise automation and industrial field technology. This role is unique: you will manage and scale production solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio, while simultaneously providing deep technical expertise for SCADA field device operations.
The ideal candidate is a hybrid expert—comfortable designing AI-driven workflows one hour and troubleshooting DNP3.0 communication protocols the next.
Power Platform Administration: Provide Tier 2/3 support for production solutions built on Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Ensure environment stability, security, and performance.
AI Agent Development: Lead the near-term initiative to build, deploy, and maintain intelligent AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio to streamline internal operations.
Next-Gen Development: Evaluate and implement AI-assisted application development tools to accelerate the delivery of business-critical software and reporting.
Technical Enablement: Act as a subject matter expert for internal technical teams, facilitating knowledge transfer on Power Platform suite components and best practices.
Field Device Commissioning: Partner with the Remote Terminal Operations (RTO) team to manage the end-to-end commissioning of SCADA field devices, ensuring seamless integration into the existing network.
Infrastructure Management: Support large-scale deployments of new field technologies, maintaining high standards during periods of increased project workload.
Network Oversight: Troubleshoot and optimize SCADA Wide Area Networks (WAN) and communication gateways to ensure 24/7 data reliability.
Protocol Expertise: Apply deep technical knowledge of the DNP3.0 communication protocol to manage device-to-center telemetry and command execution.
Protocols & Gateways: Deep expertise in DNP3.0 and the configuration of SCADA gateways.
Device Management: Experience with Central SCADA Device Management Software for remote configuration, firmware patching, and health monitoring.
WAN Engineering: Working knowledge of the networking infrastructure (radio, cellular, or fiber) that supports wide-area industrial telemetry.
Field Commissioning: Proven track record of physical and logical commissioning of SCADA hardware in a utility or industrial setting.
Power Platform: Advanced proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas/Model-driven), Power Automate (Complex flows/Cloud flows), and Power BI (DAX/Data modeling).
Microsoft Copilot Studio: Experience building and tuning generative AI conversational agents.
Documentation: Ability to produce professional-level technical specifications, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
