Vision Support Technician

VRSI (Variation Reduction Solutions, Inc.) is seeking candidates for permanent full-time employment. We are a rapidly growing company in need of Vision Support Technicians to support existing and future applications throughout various industries and applications. Selected candidates will report to the Engineering Team Manager and work with Project and Application Engineers to troubleshoot, support, service, and maintain vision-based solutions in a wide range of technologies.
Position Requirements:

Associates degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering technology
•
Preferred but not required given significant relevant experience
•
Excellent communication skills
•
Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and skills
•
Ability to work independently and with a team
•
Willingness for extensive domestic and international travel on short notice
•
Expect 90% travel
Additional Experience and Knowledge Desired:
•
0-3 years of experience in industrial and/or manufacturing environment
•
Basic knowledge of industrial PLC logic and methods
•
Good knowledge of computer and networking systems
•
Applied application experience with robotics and machine vision
•
Strong mathematical background
•
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
•
Capable of understanding mechanical and electrical drawings
•
Intern or Co-op experience in automotive manufacturing facilities
