The E&I Superintendent oversees electrical and instrumentation works in construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. This leadership position is responsible for the day to day management of the construction site on an assigned project, executing field operations safely and in a manner consistent with Company objectives. What you will be doing: Oversee day-to-day site activities related to electrical and instrumentation works, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to project specifications and safety standards. Coordinate and schedule electrical and instrumentation tradespeople, providing leadership and direction for all related tasks Work in conjunction with the Project Execution team (Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Coordinators, etc.) and maintain consistent communication and reporting. Interpret design requirements and technical drawings and ensure all E&I work adheres to industry standards Assist in preparation and negotiation of mechanical and electrical subcontracts. Implements and manages the Bird Safety Program; performs regular hazard analysis and toolbox meetings. What are we looking for: 10+ years’ experience in the maintenance industry working with contractors with relevant work experience in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of electrical & instrumentation systems. Experience with industrial and process mechanical, electrical and controls considered an asset. Effectively provide overall supervision, coordination and scheduling of construction activities and consistently complete projects on time, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction. Demonstrated competence in the areas of safety, workforce management, project execution, cost control, quality, and administration. A strong leader and problem-solver, you are able to build and steward trust with clients, subcontractors, and team members to effect competitive excellence and pride in teamwork with outstanding project delivery.
